LEE UNIVERSITY GRAPHIC DESIGN BROCHURE

BROCHURE DESIGN CONCEPT / LAYOUT

Being a brochure for a graphic design program, I chose the theme of “shape and form” to be the main focus of the pamphlet. I used a circle because it represented shapes in their simplest form. I added texture to the circles to make them more eye-catching, and used a line to lead the reader’s eye from the front to the back of the brochure.

The jet black and golden yellow were chosen to contrast each other throughout the design. Additionally, for the titles I used a tight tracking lower case helvetica because it is a staple in design. The entire brochure was intentionally kept minimal to keep the design clean and to the point - what that designers strive for, and more importantly, what is easiest for readers to take in.
