WWES22
The World Wide Excellence Summit for 2022 focused around creativity and how to empower Apple Sales people to use creativity show what Apple products have to offer. To show flexibility of Apple products, and a breadth of different uses for them, the animated intro we created experiments between different art styles that all connect around the one central theme.

Mediums
Not only did we work to visualize creativity in the script through different art styles and scenes, but we also worked to implement different forms of animation to put those different styles into motion. We used after effects, cinema 4d, frame by frame in procreate, and even stop motion to animate in a handful of different ways and to make the motion feel unique alongside the art. All of these frames below I either designed, animated, or both.
Logo Design
For the logo, we created a bunch of different versions of WWES22 in various styles. But we needed a single set logo that we could use for all communications, even when an animated GIF wasn’t possible. For the standalone logo, I tried blending the SF Symbols doodle icon with the number 22. I ended up with a colorful version that was expressive and worked well as an animation.
Beyond the Intro
Making graphics and animations for an intro and a logo was one piece of the puzzle, but how did we create ways to elevate the experience users had with the actual content? I worked to create interactive animated content within our training application that would highlight the digital event and give a bespoke experience for the users to get excited about.
